Teffo: Eyewitness will confirm Kelly Khumalo shot Senzo Meyiwa
The High Court in Pretoria heard explosive allegations against the former girlfriend of slain Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa on Wednesday.
The attorney for four of the five men on trial for Meyiwa’s murder told the court he will prove that the goalkeeper's then girlfriend Kelly Khumalo pulled the trigger.
Malesela Teffo said he will bring an eyewitness to court who will testify to the fact that Meyiwa was shot and killed bythe South African songstress.
“A witness, not just a witness, will testify that Senzo Robert Meyiwa was allegedly shot by Nonhlanhla Kelly Khumalo, by mistake as it is alleged.”

The trial against the five men accused of Meyiwa’s murder continued on Wednesday.

Muzi Sibiya, Bongani Ntanzi, Mthobisi Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa and Fisokuhle Ntuli have been charged with premeditated murder.
Other charges include attempted murder, robbery, and the possession of an illegal firearm.
