Terror suspects back in Johannesburg court
Updated | By Maryke Vermaak
Two brothers allegedly linked to the Islamic State terror group are expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
The state alleges that brothers Brandon-Lee and Tony-Lee Thulsie planned to set off explosives at a US embassy and "Jewish institutions" in South Africa.
The men were arrested earlier this month in an operation by the Hawks and other security agencies.
The charge sheet claims the pair has ties to international terror organisation IS.
The state is expected to oppose bail.
