More than 3000 students gathered at the Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane on Monday ahead of the resumption of registration at Capricorn TVET college.

The college has confirmed that students started gathering at the stadium on Saturday.
Registration was postponed last week at the college, when six students were injured during a stampede.
College spokesperson Tumelo Morobe says the University has made contingency plans to try avoid another stampede.
"We have decided to use the new Peter Mokaba stadium. We made sure that we provide them with a tent to sleep in, we provide them with enough mobile toilets and provide them with water to make sure that when they come this morning the come ready and fresh."
It has also roped in the services of security guards to ensure the situation remains under control.

"Already security guards are already at the stadium making sure that ques are running smoothly so that we don't experience what we experienced last week," says Morobe.
The college has given an assurance that all applications will be processed today.

"What we have planned today is that we are going to do applications. The form will take one student a few minutes to fill in.
"So it means that ques will move quicker. We will make sure that before the end of today everybody has been afforded the opportunity to apply," adds Morobe.
Morobe says successful applicants will be contacted via sms to complete registration.
