Three fatally injured on Pretoria car crash
Gauteng traffic police say three people were killed in an accident on the N14 between R511 and R55 towards Pretoria Thursday morning.
A heavily loaded vehicle with a trailer lost control and collided with the bakkie.
The highway was closed for several hours to allow for the scene to be cleared.
Gauteng traffic police spokesperson Sello Maremane says several other passengers also suffered injuries and were airlifted to Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria.
“We would like to make an appeal to all motorists not to overload their vehicle, as this may cause unnecessary loss of life.
