Three injured in light aircraft crash in Germiston

Three people have been injured in a light aircraft crash near Germiston, east of Johannesburg.

The aircraft crash-landed near the Rand Airport in Germiston on Monday morning.
"We received a report of a light aircraft crash at about 11am this morning,” says Ekurhuleni emergency services spokesperson Eric Maloka.
“Our emergency services responded and found that there were three occupants, one with minor injuries. All of them were transported to the nearest hospital, and no fatalities were reported.”
The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is expected to probe the cause of the crash.
