Tlharihani TVET College rapist ‘shot and killed’
Limpopo police commissioner Thembi Hadebe believes the man who had raped four college students in Bolobedu outside Tzaneen has died.
She says the suspect was reportedly shot and killed by three community members during an attempted robbery.
He was shot shortly after escaping from angry members of the local community following his attempt to rob a house in the area.
"We will be taking the relevant samples for DNA and the linkages to the crime kid that was collected at the TVET college," said Hadebe.
She believes his modus operandi is the same as the suspect who raped and robbed the students at Tlharihani TVET College residence a week ago.
The suspect raped four students before robbing them of their cell phones at gunpoint.
