Toddler rape case postponed
Updated | By Olivia Phalaetsile
The matter was postponed to January 13 for further investigation, said Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela.
The man would remain in custody.
He was arrested on December 28, a day after the toddler's mother walked in on him allegedly raping the child in Mofolo North, Soweto.
The girl was taken for a medical examination.
"The attending doctor found that it was not the first time the child had been raped.
The girl is now in counselling and is being treated for injuries," Makhubela said at the time.
