Top South African advocate Mike Hellens has been taken in for questioning by immigration officials in Namibia.
This is according to a Namibia twitter account @InformanteNews, which tweeted a video of Hellens and legal partner Dawie Joubert in court on Friday afternoon.
The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation reported that Hellens and Joubert were questioned by immigration officials and escorted off the court premises.
It appears that they may have entered that country without valid work permits.
A video on Twitter shows the two lawyers taken in by the SWAT team and officials from home affairs and immigration.
