Traditional healers: Junk status 'in the bones'
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Traditional healers say they have known about the country's credit rating downgrade for the past two years.
Limpopo healer Dr. Sylvester Hlati says they were warned by bone readings done two years ago, and that the recent earth tremors which shook Gauteng were fallen stalwarts' way of communicating their disbelief at the political event of the past week.
"The ancestors are upset, people think because they well-educated and have money they do not need ancestors. The ancestors disagree."
Hlati says the only recourse for South Africa is to remove all current leaders.
"We need leaders that will focus on the future of South Africa. The divine bones, however, say that this won't be easy as our leaders are arrogant and do not want to leave office."

He believes only a mass, collective bone reading will be able to heal South Africa.
Hlati says: "We are summoning every ancestor to help us put out the fire. Even though some might not believe in it, everyone will have to do it, for the country and uniting everyone again."
