Traffic on N14 diverted due to protest

Residents took to the streets in theNorth West on Tuesday night, blockading roads with rocks and burning tyres.
Traffic on the N14 national road between Delareyville and Vryburg was diverted on Tuesday night due to protests, North West police said.
Police spokesperson Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said employees of Botselo milling embarked on an illegal protest and barricaded the road with burning tyres.
“The traffic is now being diverted to use an alternative road. The employees have been on protected strike for more than three weeks. POP [Public order Police] is at the scene and trying to manage the situation.”
