Truck crash leads to frustrations, delays on R21
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
Motorists using the R21 between Pretoria and OR Tambo International Airport have been asked to be patient as authorities try to clear the debris on the road.
A truck overturned and lost its load on the highway on Monday morning.
The crash caused delays from the Esselen Park (Engen garage) right up to the Nellmapius exit north bound.
Gauteng Traffic Police Obed Sibasa said two lanes remain closed following the accident.
Motorists have been urged to use N1 or R101 as alternative routses.
No injuries have been reported.
