Truck looted amid Diepkloof protests
Updated | By Mmangaliso Khumalo
Johannesburg metro police spokesperson Xolani Fihla has urged motorists to use alternative routes due to Monday morning's protests in Diepkloof, Soweto.

This is the second time the residents took to the streets demanding electricity, houses, water and sanitation.
Angry community members took to the streets and barricaded roads with burning tires and rocks.
Affected roads included the Chris Hani Road between Collinder Road and the N12 exit.
"A trucking transport alcohol was looted, and the driver sustained slight injuries. No arrests have been made, and officers will continue to monitor the area for any further disturbances and disruptions,” says Fihla.
Roads have been reopened.
