Tshwane residents warned over water interruptions in June

This follows a notification from Rand Water about a need to do maintenance work on the utility’s reservoirs that service the mentioned areas.

Residents of Lotus Gardens, Atteridgeville and Laudium are being warned of planned possible water supply interruptions during the month of June 2019. 


According to the City of Tshwane's Lindela Mashigo: "This follows a notification from Rand Water about a need to do maintenance work on the utility’s reservoirs that service the mentioned areas."

Lotus Gardens



20 June 2019


10h00 to 22h00


Atteridgeville



24 June 2019


10h00 to 18h00

"The City of Tshwane apologises profusely for the inconvenience that may be encountered as a result of the planned maintenance," says Mashigo. 


He noted that in order to ensure the provision of water supply to the affected areas, all reservoirs will be filled to capacity prior to the shutdown. 


"We appeal to all residents to utilise water sparingly during this time," concluded Mashigo.
