Tshwane restores water supply to Queenswood reservoir
The City of Tshwane says water pipeline repairs at the Queenswood reservoirs have been completed, and water has been restored.
The outage left hundreds of residents without water since Wednesday.
The outage affected Colbyn, Koedoespoort, Môregloed, Rietfontein, Rietondale, Villieria, Waverley and Wonderboom South.
Spokesperson Selby Bokaba says technicians are also repairing a leaking pipe in the area.
"We experienced a setback this morning after discovering a pipe leaking near where we repaired. The team will isolate and expose.
"The City of Tshwane’s Water and Sanitation Department team of plumbers attended to a major water leak on the main bulk pipeline which supplies the Queenswood East and West reservoirs yesterday."
