Tshwane’s electricity tariff application ‘incomplete'
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) has sent the City of Tshwane packing at its public hearing into the metro’s electricity tariff increase.

Nersa chairperson Nomfundo Maseti told the city on Thursday that its application is incomplete and does not comply with the provisions of the pricing policy.
The city has been accused of implementing unlawful electricity tariff increases without Nersa’s approval.
