Violence erupted at the institution's Soshanguve campus over claims that their SRC elections were rigged, resulting in a shooting which killed a 26-year-old law student.
Police watchdog, Ipid, is investigating the circumstances, with allegations that police had used live ammunition to calm students.
"Activities will continue tomorrow to ensure no academic time is lost," says spokesperson, Willa de Ruyter.
SNG Grant Thornton has been appointed to independently investigate the claims that the SRC elections were rigged.
