TUT ISRC claims students are sleeping in toilets
Updated | By Olivia Phalaetsile
The Institutional Student Representative Council at Tshwane University of Technology have called for classes at the institution to resume on Friday.

On Tuesday, the University closed its Pretoria main campus after protest action erupted overnight.
ISRC President Hendrick Masunda says they have been meeting with the University management to try and reach an agreement on the issue of accommodation.
"The protest was sparked by lack of accommodation. A number of students who are currently on (student financial aid scheme) NSFAS do not have accommodation. It is unfair to have students sleeping in toilets and benches," he says.
The University Management could not be reached by the time of publication.
TUT is yet to comment on the allegations.
