Twitter has little confidence in Gigaba
South Africans have taken to Twitter, with the usual sense of humour, to voice their lack of confidence in the country's new Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba.
Gigaba replaced Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan in a dramatic cabinet reshuffle, which saw South Africans take to the streets and high profile calls for President Jacob Zuma to resign.
Gigaba is expected to address the media today following his appointment.
The Minister-designate has met with the National Treasury Director-General Lungisa Fuzile and briefly with the National Treasury Exco.
Gigaba has also already held a teleconference with rating agencies to give assurances about the future.
