Twitter joins in the search for Ajay Gupta
Social media reacted with fervor yesterday following the confirmation that controversial Controversial Gupta
brother Ajay is now considered a fugitive of justice.
The Hawks announced a warrant has been issued for his arrest after he had failed to hand himself over to police, as previously arranged with his legal team.
He is wanted in connection with the on-going investigation into the mutli-million rand Estina Vrede Dairy Farm project in the Free State.
To add more drama - the elite crime fighting unit Hawks say it's believed Ajay Gupta has personal protection.
This grabbed the imagination of South Africans, who promptly took to Twitter to try and find the Gupta brother.
