Two dead in East Rand helicopter crash

Two men died in a helicopter crash near Rand Airport in Germiston on the East Rand, paramedics said on Thursday.

 

"The helicopter had two males in it. Both are deceased," Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said.

It was unclear how the accident happened. The crash occurred around 1pm.
