Two die as car slams into truck at petrol station

Two people were killed and another injured when their car ploughed into the back of a delivery truck at a petrol station near Richards Bay on Friday morning.
Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said the accident happened at the One Stop petrol station on the N2, about 10km from Richards Bay .
“Reports from the scene indicate that a vehicle with three people hurtled into the service station and slammed into the rear of a delivery truck,” said Botha.
?By the time that paramedics arrived the two passengers had succumbed to their injuries.
Botha said the driver, who had “miraculously” sustained only minor injuries, was later taken into police custody.
