Two Egyptian nationals appear in court for murder of Coptic monks

Two Egyptian nationals appeared at the Cullinan Magistrates Court in Gauteng for the murder of three monks of Egypt's Coptic Orthodox faith.
It is alleged that a monk Saeed Basonda and priest Samuel Avamarkos fatally stabbed three Egyptian monks of the Coptic Orthodox Church.

The three bodies belonging to Takla Elsmwaeili Ayoub Attia Mossoud Mouss, Marcos Shawkat Nasry Morid Wanas Mina and Marcos Mofed Tawfek Isaac Youstos were discovered by a church worker when reporting for duty last month.
The case has been postponed to next week Thursday, for bail information.
