Two girls found dead in White River

A manhunt has been launched for an unknown number of suspects following the discovery of two bodies in a trench in Mganduzweni, outside White River.
Mpumalanga spokesperson Leonard Hlathi says the girls - aged six and seven- failed to return home from school.
"It all emanated yesterday when family members complained that the two girls left school they got lost and they don't know where they were. A search started from yesterday(Tuesday)."

Hlathi says the bodies were found by a member of the community.
"A community member alerted police about the bodies’ of young children that were found in a ditch just next to a stream. Investigations discovered that those bodies are those of the two girls that were reported missing."
Hlathi has urged anyone with any information to come forward.
“This is not the first time we found dead bodies of young children."
