Two men killed in drive-by shooting in Durban Central

Police in Durban are investigating two counts of murder following a drive-by shooting in the Durban Central Business District on Tuesday morning.

Police spokesperson, Jay Naicker said the motive for the shooting is not yet known.
“At approximately 10:30 Tuesday morning police at Durban Central responded to a crime scene where two men were shot and killed on Argyle Road,” he said.
It is reported that the two men, one of whom was a tow truck driver, were standing outside their vehicles when two suspects approached them and opened fire on them with a high caliber rifle.
“A search for the suspects is underway,” said Naicker.
