Two more arrested for the murder of Collins Chabane Municipality mayor
The police in Limpopo have arrested two additional suspects for the murder of Collins Chabane mayor, Moses Maluleke.
Maluleke was gunned down outside his home last month in Shikundu in an apparent robbery.
The suspects, aged 46 and 47, were arrested in separate areas on Friday.
One suspect was arrested in Thohoyandou while the other was arrested in Saselamani.
Two other suspects have already appeared in court and abandoned their bail applications.
They face charges of murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
The additional suspects will appear in Malamulele magistrate court on Monday facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder, murder, attempted murder and possession of illegal firearm and ammunition.
