Two Gauteng officials have been arrested for corruption at a vehicle testing station.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) says the pair were arrested in connection with bribery involving R9000.
RTMC spokesperson Simon Zwane says: "Two compliance inspectors were arrested. They will be charged under the Anti-Corruption Act. They issued roadworthy documents without inspecting the vehicles."
Their arrests follow a complaint from a scholar transport operator.
