Police in Gauteng have arrested two suspected drug traffickers in two separate incidents at OR Tambo International Airport on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The two Dutch nationals were arrested in possession of 80 kilograms of fresh Khat (binomial name catha edulis).
The 21-year-old and a 59-year-old suspect were travelling from South Africa to the Netherlands via Dubai at the time of their arrest.
Police spokesperson Amanda van Wyk said the men were arrested when they attempted to check-in and board their flights.
"The suspects were consequently arrested and expected to appear before the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court.
"This brings the total to 13 drug traffickers arrested at the OR Tambo International Airport in the last couple of weeks."
