UK warns of possible terror attacks in SA

The British government has alerted its citizens that terrorists are likely to carry out attacks in South Africa
The British government believes there's a heightened threat of terrorist attacks in the country.
It has cautioned its citizens to be vigilant at all time as attacks, it predicts, will be carried out at random and in places such as shopping malls.
In a statement released on the British government website on Thursday, it warned of terrorist groups that might infiltrate South Africa.
"News reports suggest that a number of South African nationals have travelled to Syria, Iraq and Libya. They are likely to pose a security threat on their return."
It also attributes the threats on an incident where two South African-British nationals were kidnapped in February.
"Terrorists are likely to try to carry out attacks in South Africa. Attacks could be indiscriminate, including in places visited by foreigners such as shopping areas in major cities," reads the statement.
