He feels the South African labour market is not seeing the potential young people have to strengthen the economy.

"Young unemployed people are not a problem. Young unemployed people are a resource. They are a resource the country needs to tap into. The world over, many countries are complaining that they've got too few young people, so South Africa should tap into the resource it has and utilise and enhance the creativity of young people and absorb them into the labour market," Kganyago said.
