Union calls for Zuma to resign, Guptas to be deported
Updated | By Samkelo Maseko
The National Transport Movement (NTM) has called on government to deport the controversial Gupta family.
The trade union made the call while briefing the media on a complaint it has laid with the Public Protector over corruption at the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA).
NTM president Ephraim Mphahlele says the Gupta family must have their citizenship revoked and be deported back to India.
"The citizenship accorded to the Gupta family must be rescinded as it had been awarded in an unlawful manner and we demand that they be deported back to their country of origin," says Mphahlele.

Mphahlele says the family is at the centre of corruption at PRASA.
"They have brought too much political embarrassment to the country, including the regime," says Mphahlele.
The union is also calling for the resignation of President Jacob Zuma and the Minister of Transport, Joe Maswanganyi.
