US wildfire sparks dramatic wedding photos
Updated | By Catrine Malan
And you thought rain on your wedding day was a disaster - these newlyweds gave a whole new meaning to burning love.
When firefighters interrupted Michael Wolber and April Hartley's marriage ceremony in the US state of Oregon and told them to flee a raging wildfire, they thought their big day was about to go up in smoke.
But the adaptable happy couple simply rushed through their vows and used the fiery backdrop for a dramatic photo opportunity.
As guests made their way to their cars to evacuate on Saturday, wedding photographer Josh Newton snapped the newlyweds with the conflagration looming in the background.
Mr Wolber told the Oregonian it was "the most beautiful ceremony either of us could have ever imagined".
The couple - who live in Aloha, Hawaii, and both work at Nike - have been courted for television interviews since the snaps went viral.
