Vicki Momberg to face additional charges
Updated | By Latashia Naidoo
Durban real estate agent Vicki Momberg, the woman who appeared in a racist video earlier this year in which she hurled insults at black police officers, will now face a further seven charges of crimen injuria.

Momberg appeared before the Randburg Magistrate's Court this morning, where she was due to face just one charge of crimen injuria for wilful injury to someone’s dignity. However, the State has now imposed seven additional charges - which have yet to be disclosed.
The video, which went viral in June, showed Momberg calling black officers arrogant, useless, and the k-word. The incident occurred after police were called to assist her at the scene of a smash-and-grab incident in Johannesburg.
Addressing media outside the court this morning, Momberg’s lawyer Nardus Grove said: “It has been traumatic for her but she is dealing with the matter to the best of her ability.”
The case has been postponed to September 6, 2016.
