The arrest comes after JMPD received a tip-off.
"Officers received a tip-off that the vodka had been stolen from a truck. It was then hidden at an address in Bekkersdal."
Minnaar says three other suspects managed to escape.
"The arrested suspect will face charges of truck hijacking and theft."
The truck has been recovered.
