Warning of severe thunderstorms, flooding for Mpumalanga
Updated | By Makhosazane Twala
The South African Weather Service has warned of possible severe thunderstorms and heavy rain for parts of Mpumalanga on Tuesday.

Forecaster Dipuo Tawana says hail and excessive lightning can also be expected in some part of the province.
"We have issued a level two warning over the southern part of Mpumalanga. It will be of severe thunderstorm, with possible large amount of hail. The thunderstorm will lead to heavy downfalls that will result in flooding of roads, low-laying areas and bridges."
Tawana warned motorist to drive with caution.
"We urge drivers to remain cautious because hail and thunderstorm makes it difficult to drive in these type of conditions, especially if you’re driving fast.
"The area would remain cloudy for the next couple of days with isolated showers in the area and along the Swaziland border."
