Warning: Severe thunderstorms

The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of severe thunderstorms for later this afternoon.

 

Extreme weather conditions can be expected over Gauteng, the extreme north-eastern parts of the North West province, the north-eastern parts of the Free State and the Mpumalanga highveld. 

 

Damaging winds, heary rain and large hail can be expected.
