WATCH: Cash heist in Karen Park

Police say a group of suspects in a Quantum, an Audi and an unknown vehicle approached the truck around 8:00 O' clock on Saturday morning.

"During the incident, there were two cars affected by the bullets during the shootout. One woman was hit by a stray bullet in the leg while in her car, another car was only damaged, the owner was not injured," says Police spokesperson Kay Makhubele. 

Makhubele has called on members of the public to come forward with information.

An eyewitness who wishes to remain anonymous, told Jacaranda FM News the situation in the area is tense. 

"I have been living in Wonderpark Estates for two years now, this is the first time something of this nature has happened. People are shaken and we are shocked and still in disbelief," 

The eyewitness drove to the scene, after hearing loud shots. 

"I was on my way to gym, I heard loud shots and I just thought it was a house burning. I saw people running towards the scene and made a U-turn. When I got to the scene, there were three Fidelity guards lying on the left side of the truck which was on fire."

The eyewitness captured this chaotic scene, moments after the incident.
