[WATCH] Cele on Nkandla visit: I will account to Parliament
Updated | By Gaopalelwe Phalaetsile
Police Minister Bheki Cele says he will account to Parliament on his visit to former the Nkandla home of former president Jacob Zuma.
Cele visited Nkandla on Thursday.
His visit came on the back of Zuma’s decision to defy a Constitutional Court ruling ordering him to appear and testify at the commission of inquiry into state capture.
The commission’s chair, Deputy Chief Raymond Zondo, ordered the secretary to file papers to the apex court to seek an of order of contempt against Zuma.

The commission also indicated it will push for the court to institute a jail term against Zuma.
Cele is said to have spent three hours with Zuma.
While the exact details of their conversations are not known, the police minister told reporters in a media briefing on Friday that he went to find out Zuma's concerns and raise his own.
Many have raised questions around the use of state resources by Cele during his visit to Zuma.
Speaking during a handover of new police vehicles in Johannesburg on Saturday, Cele said he is more than willing to account to Parliament.
