Spokesperson for the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) Promise Mkwananzi was delivering an address on the election update on Saturday morning when the briefing was disturbed.
Mkwananzi was giving an update to the media on alleged irregularities at some voting stations during the Zimbabwe elections.
This while vote counting is still continuing in an election that had to be extended into Thursday after some voting stations did not open on time or not at all on Wednesday.
During the live press address an unknown man can be seen grabbing the speech from Mkwananzi during the address in Harare.
This comes as reports are coming in that the CCC party has taken 12 parliamentary seats in Bulawayo.
In a short statement on X, formally known as Twitter, CCC stated that the conference was violently disrupted by suspected Zanu-PF members and individuals identified as members of law enforcement.
