WATCH: Couple uses son to steal items at crèche
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
A video is doing the rounds on social media showing a couple robbing a crèche in Roodepoort while pretending to enroll their son in the school.

CCTV footage shows the parents talking to the staff about enrolling their two children.
As soon as they leave the room to view the rest of the facilities the young boy is seen stealing what looks like a cell phone and putting it in his pants.
A post on Facebook warned other crèches in the area to be on the lookout of the couple.

"A group are going around to crèches in the Helderkruin and surrounding areas and posing as ‘new parents’ looking for a place for their children," the post reads.
"They then use their children to steal valuables. This is not the first time and won't be the last. Please keep your possessions out of sight. The vehicle being used is a black Audi."
Roodepoort police spokesperson Juanita Yorke says no case had been opened yet and has urged the creche to lay a formal charge to allow them to investigate.
