WATCH: Depressing Christmas ad leads to changes in holidays plans

German supermarket chain Edeka's Christmas advert might just be one of the most depressing things you'll see this festive season.
The ad has evoked emotions raging from sadness to outrage, with many people saying it made them change their plans for the holidays.
The advert show an elderly man spending Christmas alone when his children could not make it home for the holidays.
After they receive a notice of their father's funeral, they all rush home to find him waiting for them.
