[WATCH] Fire razes 7 shops in Mahikeng

A fire in Mahikeng affected 7 shops, according to the South African Police Serice (SAPS).
The SAPS's Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone says the fire broke out at a Bradlows store on Monday morning but has been contained.
"There were reports that some members of the community attempted to loot, but the police were there and they managed to deal with the situation," says Mokgwabone.

Mokgwabone says police are still on the scene and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
