WATCH LIVE: Godongwana delivers mid-term budget
Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana will table his maiden Medium Term Budget Policy Statement on Thursday afternoon.
Godongwana's mini budget comes on the back on concerns that the Covid-19 pandemic and the rolling bouts of load shedding have slowed economic recovery.
Despite continued hardships, some economists predict much needed progress.
Godongwana is expected to keep to former Minister Tito Mboweni's fiscal policy, while giving an update on social relief grants, tax collection and the economic reconstruction and recovery plan.
