Ramaphosa to pave way forward for religious sector

President Cyril Ramaphosa will lead the call for a National Day of Prayer on Tuesday evening.
The address is expected to start at 19:30.
Ramaphosa is also expected to provide an update on the way forward for the religious sector as the country prepares to move to level 3 of the lockdown.
It follows consultations with faith leaders amid unhappiness that religious gatherings will still not be allowed when the country moves to level 3 of the lockdown on Monday.
Ramaphosa is expected to provide details on the ways in which churches, mosques, synagogues and other religious gatherings will be allowed to operate.
