The father of slain rapper Kiernan ‘AKA' Forbes, came face to face with those implicated in his son's murder.
Tony Forbes arrived at the Durban Magistrate's Court on Thursday, where five of the seven suspects will line up for the first time.
A visibly tired Forbes shook the hands of KZN police chief Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi and Minister Bheki Cele as he took his seat on the bench next to them.
Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and his friend Tebello Motsoane were shot on Durban's Florida Road last year - in what police confirmed was a hit targeting the rap sensation.
Two suspects, who were arrested in eSwatini, are still in the process of being extradited to the country.
Cele's told Newswatch that he spoke to AKA’s father, Tony on his flight to Durban.
