Water interruptions in Tshwane

"The City of Tshwane wishes to inform its customers about the scheduled upgrading and pipe reinforcement of the Waverly high and low level reservoirs on 15 and 17 November 2016 respectively.. The service interruption period on both days will be from 06h00 and will last for 36 hours," city officials said in a statement.

Here are the areas that will be affected:

- Derdepoort 326 - JR

- Derdepoortpark

- Ekklesia Extension 1, 2, 3 and 5

- East Lynne and East Lynne extension 1 and 5

- Jan Niemandpark

ALSO DEAD: Tshwane not out of the water-woods, yet

The residents will be supplied with water through water tankers that will be stationed as follows:

- Swaan Street, opposite the Spar

- Swaan Street, just on the other side of the open land (this will serve Jan Niemand Park and parts of East Lynn)

- East Lynn Community Centre, Stegman Street

- Derdepoort Laerskool (voting station)

- Waverly Plaza, corner Hertzog and 32nd Avenue, Waverly

Thursday, 17 November the following areas will be affected:

- Bergtuin

-  Waverly

- Waverly Extension 1

The water tanker will be stationed at Waverly Plaza, corner Hertzog and 32nd Avenue in Waverly.
