Water loss experienced in parts of Germiston
Updated | By ANA
Technicians are working to restore the water loss in the Germiston area, on the East Rand, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality said on Monday.

Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality wishes to inform residents and businesses in Germiston that technicians are currently carrying out investigations to locate the cause of the water loss in parts of Germiston,” spokesman Themba Gadebe said.
”The water loss experienced in Germiston follows the technical problems experienced at the Primrose and Russell reservoirs last week, which resulted in parts of Germiston experiencing low pressure to no water supply.”
He urged residents to use water sparingly and to store water for domestic purposes while investigations were being carried out.
Albemarle, Castleview, Hazel Park and Lambton were affected.
“Three roving water tankers will be made available to the affected areas. The municipality apologises for any inconveniences caused,” he said.
