WEATHER: Another cold front on the way

The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of a well developed cold front that is expected to make landfall from Tuesday night over the western parts, spreading to the central parts on Wednesday.

Gauteng: Partly cloudy in the east at first, otherwise fine and cool.

Mpumalanga: Cloudy with morning fog in places on the high ground, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but warm in the Lowveld. It will become fine from the west later.

Limpopo: Partly cloudy in the east otherwise fine and cool to warm.

North West: Fine and cool.

Free State: Morning fog patches in the north-east, otherwise fine and cool but cold in places.


Bloemfontein: 01 / 17


Northern Cape: Morning fog patches along the coast otherwise fine, cool to warm and windy, but cold in places on the south-western high ground. It will become cloudy with isolated light showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior in the evening. 


Kimberley: 01 / 19


Western Cape: Fine and cool, but warm in places in the east where it will be windy, becoming cloudy with isolated light showers and rain in the west from the evening, but scattered in the extreme south-west.


Cape Town: 11 / 21


Eastern Cape: Fine and cool. The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate northerly to north-easterly becoming south-westerly in the west overnight.

KwaZulu-Natal: Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, becoming fine by the late afternoon.
