Heavy rain is expected in the Eastern Cape as well as along the KwaZulu-Natal coast. Disruptive snowfalls are expected over the southern Drakensberg of the Eastern Cape in the morning.

Mpumalanga: Fine in the west at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but cold on the highveld with isolated morning showers and thundershowers but scattered in the east.

Limpopo: Fine in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm but hot in places in the Limpopo Valley. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in the east.
