Weather wreaks havoc in Tshwane
The City of Tshwane has been inundated with complaints following the current persistent rainfall.
Residents have reported power outages, sewer challenges, blocked storm water drains and toppled trees throughout the city's seven regions.
Paramedics also attended to stranded motorists, flooded roads and vehicles swept into rivers.

The City of Tshwane's Lindela Mashigo says teams are working speedily to address the challenges.
"The teams are prioritising area service complaints after which individually reported complaints will be attended," says Mashigo.
Mashigo says the city apologises for any delays and inconvenience caused while addressing the matters.
