Woman arrested for assisting in rape of niece (15)
A 24-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly assisting in the rape of her 15-year-old niece.
The woman is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
Police spokesperson Xoli Mbele says the suspect is believed to have assisted her male employer.
"They drag her to a room, where her sister assisted the male suspect by tying her hands with sellotape and closed her mouth with a sellotape," said Mbele.
The male suspect is still on the run.
